Join the immigration working group and be an advocate for our sisters and brothers who live in fear because of their legal status. Be a voice of compassion in the public debate over immigration reform. Extend a hand of mercy to those who are at risk of deportation. 

We are taking opportunities to learn about immigration policy and teach others their rights. With the U.S. Catholic bishops, we call for humane immigration policies that keep families together. With local organizations like the 
New Sanctuary Coalition of NYC, we seek to accompany immigrants facing deportation and provide support to churches providing physical sanctuary. In the future we hope to make legal services available to our neighbors at little or no cost.
