The Knights of Columbus, St. Helena of the Cross, Council 18332 will serve a Spaghetti/Meatball & Salad meal at 12:30pm in the church Hall, Sunday, October 13th, in honor of Columbus Day! Tickets are $10....

The Knights of Columbus will serve a pancake breakfast after the 8:30am and 10am (Spanish) Masses. Tickets are $10 for adults & $5 for children under 12 at the door.

The Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation Committee organizes the people of Holy Cross-Saint John the Baptist in faith-rooted campaigns to win social and economic justice for the poor in our city and our world. Our highest priorities are climate action, a living wage, and immigration reform.  We educate parishioners about issues from a perspective rooted in the Franciscan, Catholic, Christian tradition. We organize the poor who rely on the parish for material needs and spiritual uplift. We mobilize members of the parish to bring the voice of the Catholic Church and the Franciscan movement into the public arena. We take part in public events, including prayer vigils, marches, and rallies.
