JUSTICE, PEACE, AND INTEGRITY OF CREATION
God hears the cry of the poor. Jesus Christ proclaimed the kingdom of God on earth, bringing good news to the poor, liberating the captives, and healing those who were wounded by the sins of oppression.
Working for justice, peace, and care of creation is at the core of our Catholic Christian faith. We live out our discipleship by seeking the conversion of sinful social structures as well as personal habits. We are called to leave behind all ways of living that cause the domination and deprivation of others, and to take on new ways of living that foster right relationship with all peoples and with all living things in creation.
